FM802 Live Radio Appearance FM802生放送ラジオ出演

What feels like ages ago, I made my second live radio broadcast appearance on FM802 on December 14. With the holiday season in full effect, I did not have a chance to upload my radio clip until now. You can listen to my broadcast on air (switching between English and Japanese) by accessing the video file above. I played the part of Santa Claus, in full costume (sorry no picture), this time around giving the DJ a gift not from the good ol' USA but a Matryoshka (Nesting Doll) from none other than Russia. As always, good times with the crew at FM802.

もう随分前のような感じがしますが、私は昨年12月14日に、FM802に二度目の生放送出演を果たしました。ホリデーシーズンまっさかりということもあり、今までラジオクリップをアップすることができませんでした。私の生出演の模様は、上記のビデオ録画（英語と日本語を切替使用）からアクセスして聞くことができます。今回はクリスマスシーズンということもあって、サンタの衣装を身にまとい、（申し訳ないですが、写真がありません。）サンタクロースとしてラジオ放送局にお邪魔し、DJさんにアメリカのプレゼントではなく、ロシアのマトリョーシカ人形（入れ子人形）を贈呈させていただきました。FM802のスタッフさんとの楽しいひとときでした！

Nastajia's Radio Debut ナスタージア ラジオ出演

Following my broadcast over the radio, August 19th marked the day for my secretary, Nastajia, to have her time in the spotlight on FM802 in Osaka. Nastajia, who is originally from New Zealand (NZ), spoke about the annual Gumboot Day, which occurs around October 25th every year in NZ, in Japanese.

僕のラジオ放送出演に続き、8月19日は、僕のニュージーランド（NZ）出身の秘書、｢ナスタージア｣がFM802でスポットライトを浴びた記念すべき日となりました。彼女は、毎年10月25日にニュージーランド行なわれているゴム長靴デー（ゴム長靴投げ大会）について日本語で話しました。

Last week on August 17, I made my third appearance on FM802, which you can listen (in Japanese) by accessing the above video file. As I was reading off of a script that I was asked to compose on the spot, the quality of my voice and the speed of my speech were affected. Both are not natural by any means. But at least I was able to promote my hometown's basketball team - the Cleveland Cavaliers.

先週8月17日に、FM802に三度目の出演を果たしました。その模様は上記のビデオからアクセスして聞くことができます。放送は、僕がスポットで原稿を作成するよう依頼され、それを読み上げるという形で行なわれましたので、声の質や話すスピードも影響を受けちゃっていました。どう考えても声質といい、スピードといい自然ではありません。でも、少なくとも故郷のバスケットボールチーム－Cleveland Cavaliersを宣伝できたことはよかったです。
